Inspired by True Events

Inspired by True Events is Tori Kelly’s 3rd studio album, though many of the songs themselves have been previously performed. Two brand new Target-exclusive tracks were made available on this album. As the album title suggests, the entire album is based off of the lives of her and those around her. We see talk about marriage in “Language”, “Sorry Would Go A Long Way”, “Change Your Mind” and “Minute to Myself”. She speaks about growing up in “Kid I Used to Know”. “Actress” is a song about an actress Tori met. “Your Words” is a ballad about her late grandfather. All in all, Tori claims this album to contain some of her most vulnerable music to date that many long-time fans have been looking forward to as official releases.
