Baby Driver (Music From the Motion Picture) Tracklist
This is the soundtrack album to Edgar Wright’s 2017 comic thriller about a getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who listens to music constantly to drown out the tinnitus in his ears. For most of the film, the driver is known by his nickname, “Baby,” which is why there are so many songs on the soundtrack with the word “baby” in the title.

Did Edgar Wright design the album before filming the movie?
If by design you mean select the songs, then yes. Edgar Wright wrote the film to the music, so to speak. Most of the sequences in the film are built around the song that plays during the scene.
For example, the second scene is an extended shot of Baby walking to get coffee with “The Harlem Shuffle” playing. Select lyrics showing up in the graffiti around him. He also says ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah’ at the same time the artist does.
Another example is the “Tequila” shootout scene. Every shot is taken to the rhythm of the song and the final explosion confirms the song’s attachment to the script.
