This album is what happened when the artist David Shrigley gave his grotesque writings and drawing to 39 musicians and told them to make something with it.

Each song (mostly indie-rock) seems to be only connected by the words they sing. It’s a smorgasbord of different sounds, instruments, and styles, yet it all comes together when it comes to Shrigley’s dark humor.

Some hypothesize that the title, “Worried Noodles” is a metaphor for his crude drawings, as if his lines look like noodles strewn across the page.
