Hype! The Motion Picture Soundtrack

Hype! is a 1996 documentary tracing the Grunge movement from its humble beginnings to its explosion in popularity across the country. Unlike many documentaries, Hype! is told from the perspective of those deep within the movement.

The film contains rare live footage of bands such as Nirvana, Mudhoney, and Soundgarden. The full performances were put onto this album along with some previously unreleased tracks from various Grunge bands on the Sub-Pop label.
