If I Were A Carpenter

While much of the rock-music establishment thought of the Carpenters as a joke during their lifetime, a revision of the duo’s reputation began shortly after Karen Carpenter’s death. This tribute album from 1994 was made up of covers of the Carpenters' songs performed by various indie rockers of the time.
