Initially the idea of Burn Your Idol’s bassist, Alex Rudnick, In No Need of Charity is a group effort from several bands from the Chicago underground rock scene, as well as a song from Burn Your Idols and Rudnick himself.
This album is an effort to tie together several rock scenes, and any and all proceeds from it are donated to the charity PunkRockSavesLives.
