Let Them Eat Jellybeans!

One of the first punk rock various artist compilations, Let Them Eat Jellybeans!: 17 Extracts from America’s Darker Side featured two sides: one of hardcore punk bands, the other of experimental groups. The punk side features many of what would go on to be of the defining songs of the early ‘80s hardcore scene.

The album was very popular for a punk record, and gave rise to an entire genre of punk compilations that followed in its wake.
