Although Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato’s 2003 film dramatizes the true story of New York party promoter Michael Alig and is set in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the soundtrack album is not focused on Alig’s period of activity, instead picking club tracks from outside the scope of the film’s setting as well as drafting in new tracks.
