π (Pi): Music for the Motion Picture

This is the soundtrack to Darren Aronofsky’s 1998 black-and-white thriller about a mentally unstable mathematician (Sean Gullette) who imagines himself to be persecuted for a mathematical breakthrough he recently made. It marks Clint Mansell’s first-ever soundtrack score, as well as the first of many collaborations with director Darren Aronofsky.
