This is the soundtrack of John Badham’s 1993 Hollywood remake of Luc Besson’s French film about a violent drug addict (Bridget Fonda) who is trained to be an assassin for a shadowy government agency. The album contains four instrumental tracks by Hans Zimmer and five songs by Nina Simone, whose music is the main character’s source of beauty and meaning.
