On December 30, 1994, a black-clad man walked into two women’s health care clinics on the same block in Brookline, MA and murdered two receptionists, Shannon Lowney and Lee Ann Nichols, and wounded five others. In response to this violent attack, nine benefit concerts were held in the Boston, MA area in February, 1995 featuring 37 artists in total. Over $38,000 was raised to ensure safe access to health care for women and children. This album benefited the National Clinic Access Project.
