Save Stereogum - An ’00s Covers Comp

In 2020, the music blog website Stereogum went independent from their parent company. The site makes all their money from ad revenue, but unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, their revenue dropped by over 50%, and they risked shutting down. To raise money for the site, they created Save Stereogum, a compilation album of indie bands and artists covering the hits of the 2000s. The album could only be purchased by supporting an Indiegogo campaign, and it released on September 8 after raising $371,822 for the site.
