Scooby-Doo (Music from the Motion Picture)

Scooby-Doo is a 2002 live-action film adaption of the cartoon franchise of the same name. In the film, the Mystery Inc. group of detectives are invited to an island resort and theme park to solve a dark mystery surrounding its residents.

The soundtrack reflects the film’s setting, featuring a selection of summery reggae- and rock-based songs with spooky lyrics, as well as a score medley by David Newman. All songs except for “Whenever You Feel Like It” by Kylie Minogue are used in scenes throughout the film. Excluding “Shaggy, Where Are You?” by Shaggy, none of the songs used in scenes chronologically preceding the gang’s flight to Spooky Island are included on the soundtrack.
