Sing Street (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

The Sing Street Original Motion Picture Soundtrack mixes popular hits from the 70s and 80s with director John Carney’s original songs.

The songs on the soundtrack are sequenced similarly as they are in the film. Typically, the pop songs that inspired Sing Street’s original songs (the fictional band in the movie) are placed next to each other.

When asked if the child actors from the film are playing on the soundtrack, Carney responded thus:

You’re certainly hearing them singing. So it was very important to me that they were able, that they had a musical background, that they were interested in music.
