Southside With You (Music From the Motion Picture)

Richard Tanne’s 2016 film is a dramatization of a first date between a young Barack Obama (Parker Sawyers) and his future wife Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter). The film takes place over a single day in 1989, but Janet Jackson’s “Miss You Much” is the only real marker of the time period.
