Starsky & Hutch (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

The soundtrack for the 2004 film version of the 1970s TV cop show uses a great deal of funk, soul, and disco music from the period, though it also features three covers. The inclusion of Leon Haywood’s “I Want'a Do Something Freaky to You” works as an in-joke, since it formed the basis of “Nuthin' But a ‘G’ Thang,”, a big hit for Snoop Dogg, who co-starred in the film.
