The Beach Bum (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

This is the soundtrack to Harmony Korine’s black comedy about a genius writer (Matthew McConaughey) who lives a life of debauchery and partying on Florida’s coast. The film was reportedly inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s songs, and so the soundtrack has a number of those songs, while the singer himself has a role in the film.
