The Wheel & the Alphabet: A Tribute to Karl Hendricks

The Wheel & the Alphabet is a tribute album dedicated to Pittsburgh indie rock musician Karl Hendricks, who passed away in January 2017 after a battle with oral cancer. Karl was well-known in the area’s music scene as the lead singer and guitarist of The Karl Hendricks Trio.

The track listing (which is sorted alphabetically by artist) and album title come from Karl’s belief that there are two perfect inventions: “the wheel and the alphabet.”
