JAGUAR is the fifth studio EP by American singer and songwriter Victoria Monet. The extended play, originally scheduled for July 31, 2020, was delayed and released on August 7, 2020, through Tribe Records.
The EP’s lead single, “Ass Like That” was released on October 22, 2019. The song has since then acclaimed over 3 million views on YouTube and 10 million streams on Spotify. The album also produced 3 more singles including “Moment”, “Dive” and “Experience” with Khalid and producer SG Lewis. The project is the first in a trilogy of extended plays which will make up her debut studio record, confirmed by Victoria herself.
[Jaguars] are not always in the limelight, but they’re there. That’s how I feel as an artist and a songwriter in this music world. I’m more in the background. But then if I want something, I really learn and transform into that beast that’s focused and centered and wants to go get what I’ve had my eye on.

The extended play was delayed to honor Beyoncé’s new visual album BLACK IS KING, which arrived the same date as JAGUAR’s originally-planned release.
Yes there is a short film! Victoria released a short film for the extended play on July 28, 2020.
Jaguar debuted at #174 on the chart, moving 7k units its first week. The extended play marks as Victoria’s first entry on the chart.
