About “Arz Nova”

Frustrated with the direction hip hop music was heading, in 2003, Viro The Virus teamed up with Producer Caliph-NOW to create music with a “new art, or "ars nova,” approach. An incredible chemistry turned a four song EP into a 15 song album. Viro The Virus & Caliph-NOW then went on to record four more albums together.

“Arz Nova: The Longest EP Ever REMIXED” is the first of five remix projects from the original work of Viro The Virus. Caliph-NOW reached out to close friends and former producers of Viro to re-release the original “Arz Nova” album with all new production.
