This album is dedicated to Kartel’s well known female lover Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson. The currently incarcerated Kartel & Tanehsa have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, leaving many fans confused as to what their current status is. Kartel & Tanehsa have had a relationship that has been ongoing for a very long time & Tanehsa AKA “Shorty” is well known in the Dancehall scene as Kartel has mentioned her in many of his songs. Over the years, Kartel has made numerous public comments about his tumultuous relationship with Johnson, while Johnson, for the most part, has remained tight-lipped about their involvement.
