This is the first song off Mobb Deep’s third album, Hell On Earth. After their second album (The Infamous) was released to critical acclaim, the group decided to continue with a very similar vibe. This “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach was the right one to take, as the album is now recognized as a 90s hip-hop classic almost on par with The Infamous
