The name is also a reference to the now-defunct clothing brand Iceberg, they of the cartoon shirts Jay loved so much

The stars on the flag stand for the fifty states he changes them to crosses to represent the death and war it took to get them and protect them
Now we pray to the flag instead of pledging allegiance to it.
This might also be part of an extended metaphor for the cost of war. He’s talking about changing the stars on the flag to crosses to represent the rows of white crosses found in military cemeteries.
The next line is an apocalyptic warning that the human race is going to destroy itself soon. It’s time for allegiance to all humankind, time to pray for peace.

When someone says “do you get the picture” they are asking do you understand. Wayne is playing with that saying how can you be understand what’s going on in the photo (my life) when you don’t know if you haven’t gone through the situations he’s been in.
aka “You can’t judge someone if you haven’t walked a mile in their shoes.”
Similarly, he could also be alluding to representations of him in the media or public opinion that may be off base from reality. Also literally, some photos (pictures) of Wayne may serve as misrepresentations and I believe most people, such as myself, are typically unaware who the photographer of most, if not all the images they encounter day-to-day, is.
There is also another layer of meaning if taken literally: it would be difficult to obtain a physical photo if you don’t know who took (or stole) it.

Also, art and beauty are subjective matters. A person who takes a picture may have a very different view of what was beautiful in the picture than the next person. Meaning that you can only assume, and not fully understand what makes a situation, perception, etc “beautiful” unless you know who and why they captured that moment.
