Während Gary Washington mit seinem “Style”, also seinem Kleidungsstil und Auftreten, versucht Aytee auszustechen, weiß Aytee schon genau, dass ihm das nicht viel bringen wird und er ihn trotzdem besiegen wird, wodurch er Gary Washington einen “Strich durch die Rechnung”, also seine Pläne durchkreuzt, was er auch mit dem Wortspiel und gleichzeitigem Vergleich mit “Strich durch die Rechnung” betont, da beim schriftlichen Dividieren mehrmals Strich gezogen werden müssen. Ironischerweise besiegt er ihn auch noch mit “Strophen”, also Lines, die er während einer Zugfahrt, also unterwegs und in einer unruhigen Atmosphäre schreibt, wodurch verdeutlicht wird, dass er ihm auch so immer überlegen ist.
