Als Pre-Safe (Mercedes) oder Pre sense (Audi) wird ein Notbremsassistent bezeichnet, der im Falle eines drohenden Auffahrunfalls zunächst den Fahrer warnt, um dann selbstständig den notwendigen Bremsvorgang einzuleiten.
Allgemein kann zwischen Systemen unterschieden werden, die den Verkehr entweder nur mit einem Radar-System kontrollieren oder über eine zusätzliche Kamera verfügen (Audi pre sense)
Je nach Hersteller ergreift das System zudem Maßnahmen, die die Sicherheit der Fahrzeuginsassen garantieren soll. So schließt beispielsweise das Mercedes Pre-Safe-System selbsttätig geöffnete Fenster und das Schiebedach, um das mögliche Eindringen von Gegenständen bei einer Kollision zu verhindern.
Meist sind solche Pre-Safe-Systeme in Verbindung mit einer Abstandsregelung erhältlich.

Die Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (kurz auch Porsche AG) ist ein Hersteller von Automobilen mit Sitz in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Ursprung des Unternehmens ist ein 1931 von Ferdinand Porsche in Stuttgart gegründetes Konstruktionsbüro, das nach 1945 in einer Automobilfabrik aufging, die vor allem Sportwagen produzierte. Porsche ist seit 2009 Teil des Volkswagen-Konzerns und ist nicht zu verwechseln mit der börsennotierten Porsche Automobil Holding, die einen kontrollierenden Anteil an der Volkswagen AG hält.
