The 2012-2013 Chicago Bulls:

What seemed to be a season that only existed for Derrick Rose’s return to full health and return to the court. Despite the continuous media coverage of only Derrick’s knee, the Bulls were able to push through a season plagued with injuries and illness to finish 5th in the Eastern Conference and were able to get through to the second round of the playoffs in an almost “Cinderella story” like manner

The visceral opening track off of Skinless' 2006 release, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead.

The audio sample is taken from a speech in the film Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972)

The code-name “Operation Overlord” was the appellation given to Allied plans to invade the beaches of Normandy in WW2. This song is an extrapolation on the chaos and death faced by the soldiers.

#21 Overall Tyler Eifert
(College: Notre Dame)

Height: 6'6"
Weight: 251 lbs

Tyler Eifert was exactly what Cincinnati needed in their first round pick of the 2013 draft. For the last two seasons, the Bengals have not been able to get through the first round of the playoffs, losing each year to Houston. With a young and growing team, the Bengals needed another playmaker. They went out and obtained the highest rated Tight End of the 2013 draft and will now be infusing him into a newly instated, Patriot-like 2-Tight End set. Pending results, the upside to Eifert on the Cincinnati offense is tremendous and could be just what the doctor ordered for success.

It’s been said by scouts across the board that Eifert’s struggles will come at blocking. For a more in depth look at Tyler Eifert, check out his player profile at NFL.com

#20 Overall Pick Kyle Long
(College: Oregon)

Height: 6'6"
Weight: 313 lbs
Arm Length: 33 3/8"
Hands: 11"

The Bears needed to revamp their failing offensive line during the 2013 draft, so with their first round pick, they chose the son of NFL royalty Howie Long’s son, Kyle Long, the offensive guard from Oregon University.

Seen as a potential risky pick for Chicago, Long is rather inexperienced at the position but certainly has the size and athleticism of a potential star.

Kiss Land is The Weeknd’s first studio album, released on September 10, 2013, following three mixtapes he released in quick succession in 2011, which were then compiled into Trilogy, along with three bonus tracks.

Kiss Land was supported by six singles: “Kiss Land”, “Belong to the World”, “Love in the Sky”, “Live For”, “Pretty”, and “Wanderlust”.

The album had one sole feature, being fellow Toronto artist Drake, just like on his second mixtape Thursday. The Weeknd also collaborated with Drake on Take Care, Drake’s second studio album.

In an interview with Complex, Abel commented on the album, saying:

Kiss Land symbolizes the tour life, but it’s a world that I created in my head. Just like House of Balloons symbolizes Toronto and my experiences there, but it’s a world that I created. When I think about Kiss Land, I think about a terrifying place. It’s a place I’ve never been to before that I’m very unfamiliar with. A lot of it is inspired by filmmakers like John Carpenter, David Cronenberg, and Ridley Scott, because they know how to capture fear. That’s what Kiss Land is to me, an environment that’s just honest fear. I don’t know who I am right now and I’m doing all these outlandish things in these settings that I’m not familiar with. To me, it’s the most terrifying thing ever. So when you hear the screams in the record and you hear all these horror references and you feel scared, listen to the music because I want you to feel what I’m feeling. Kiss Land is like a horror movie.

On March 17, 2013, The Weeknd announced the album’s title. That same day, he released the album’s title track.

On June 16th, 2013, Abel released the second single, “Belong To The World”.

On July 30th, 2013, he released the third single, “Love in the Sky”.

On August 20th, 2013, he released the fourth single, “Live For”.
