A LoJack is a tracking system that you can place into your car to assist in recovery in the event of it getting stolen. Cube knows how to disconnect them – apparently, they’re not all that difficult. And cell phones under a floor mat? Yeah, people did that in the 90s…

Cube (sort of) justifies his actions as a thief by accusing his victim’s husband of being a thief himself. The “S & L crisis” (stands for Savings and Loans crisis) is best summed up from the linked Wikipedia page:

S&Ls made long-term loans at fixed interest using short-term money. When the interest rate increased, the S&Ls could not attract adequate capital and became insolvent. Rather than admit to insolvency, some CEOs of S&Ls became “reactive” control frauds by inventing creative accounting strategies that turned their businesses into Ponzi schemes that looked highly profitable, thereby attracting more investors and growing rapidly, while actually losing money.

Dre and Snoop are into their 1-8-7’s, whereas Cube’s all about them armed robberies.

Cube continues to play on using the name “Robin” to associate it with the act of “robbing”; this time he uses the pun for “Boy Wonder” himself, Batman’s sidekick, Robin.

Even better, Cube uses one of Robin’s trademark catchphrases in his favor (“Holy Bandit!). If you’ve caught any of the older versions of the television show, Robin is known for saying "Holy _____, Batman”.

“Hudson Hawk” refers to a relatively unknown movie starring Bruce Willis released in ‘91. The premise of the movie is that Willis (Hudson Hawk) is a cat burglar, hired to steal some high end art. Honestly, don’t bother seeing it.

The movie was a definite flop, having a film budget of $70 mil and only grossing just over $17 mil.

Though she’s talking about that “superb herb”, this is some genuine foreshadowing.

Cube carefully, and creatively, places a George Clinton sample from the track “Atomic Dog” throughout the song.

Cube’s using the line in the sense that a dog (Cube) that chases his tail (his late night victim) would be a dumb one, so he’d just place the one phone call to get her over.

The term ‘booty call’ is believed to have been officially coined in the early 1990’s by a series of comedians, rappers, and writers who used the term to describe a specific encounter – literally picking up the phone, calling someone you’d like to see that night/early morning for one thing and one thing only: booty. It’s obvious that Jeezy is a production giant, he’s selling his product before it’s even finished, meaning things are in back order. In this situation, it would be a wise business decision to take it to the next level.

But 6x, how am I supposed to do that? What’s the next level? Let me get a pen!

What I would do would be exactly what many great businessmen have been doing for decades: Franchise!

As long as he’s already made up all of his start-up funds back and a small profit for his own pockets, franchising would be an excellent way to capitalize on the system that he’s created by “opening a second location.” Clearly what Jeezy’s doing is working (remember, his product is selling before it’s even done being made), so branching out and giving his guidance to others interested in the trade and keeping a percentage of their earnings in trade for the knowledge he’s garnered by building his own brand.
