Although Cube himself has claimed that none of the lines in this track are directed at any rapper in particular, it really seems like he’s taking shots at his once partner in crime, Dr. Dre. Dre is constantly criticized for delaying his Detox project repeatedly.

If the line is in fact a knock at Dre, it would mean that Cube his putting himself on a higher pedestal for not taking such extended breaks from music, like Dre.
