J. Cole mentions it in the hook, now Jeezy plays on it a bit here with his final line. Referring to the Shakespeare line:

All the world’s a stage
And all the men and women merely players

It seems to be one of the most revered films in all of hip hop, and any aspiring gangster. Even though the film was ahead of its time, in a Hollywood sense, Jeezy points out that the ending of the film (spoiler: he dies) is often forgotten, and only his rise is remembered. Take notes young bloods…

Referring to the infamous Shakespeare line, taken from As You Like It, Act II, Scene 7. The quote is from the monologue by Jaque

All the world’s a stage
And all the men and women merely players

Throughout the above lines in Cole’s hook, he refers to players that were only loved for their play, never for being themselves. Cole can relate, apparently.

“Tunnel vision” is the effect of losing your peripheral view. Ideally, you’d be solely focused on whatever your eyes are looking directly at. JT uses the side effect as a metaphor describing his relation to the girl of his dreams; he only sees her, regardless of what is around him…

The song is essentially about JT’s pure infatuation with his lover. Using oceanic metaphors, he says that no matter what life throws at them, they’ll be forever in love. Not even something as unknown and dangerous as the ocean’s floor can keep them separated.

It’s a lose-lose for Yeezy! Don’t respond to the diss and you’re a bitch (to Lord Jamar…), respond and he’s going to punch a tooth in. Or even worse, shoot at you while you’re recording the next hit single!

Cube’s doing a little stereotyping here, the (white) policeman that carries a .357 magnum (Dirty Harry actually carries a .44 magnum, Cube is just saying that he’s a try hard, carrying a big gun), rocking clean boots and a flat top, and arguably the whitest name in existence, “Kevin.” Although, there are several popular black guys named Kevin these days… Maybe it was a different story back in ‘93…

Ice Cube released the Bootlegs & B-Sides compilation in November 22, 1994, a collection of remixes and B-sides primarily recorded during the sessions for his third solo album The Predator (1992) and Lethal Injection (1993). The album achieved platinum status with support from the remixed singles for “Check Yo'self” with Das EFX and “What Can I Do?” with a brief appearance from Mack 10. The album ends with the “D'Voidofpopniggafiedmegamix,” a track name inspired by the Parliament track “Sir Nose d'Voidoffunk” which mixes Ice Cube tracks from his first four albums.

A “slim jim” is the tool used by tow companies, community service officers, policemen and Ice Cube’s everywhere. It’s used to unlock a locked car door by hooking the control arm of the lock and then raised, lifting the lock rod and voila, unlocked car door. They’re a little dated by this point, as most car doors are now electronic, thus slim jim’s being useless. Older models can still be unlocked by these grease stained steel tools.

The “90210” is the zip code for Beverly Hills, CA. Which would be relatively close to Cube’s abode in South Central. “Why would he be there” you ask? Well, he’s using the aforementioned slim jim to break into the plethora of high-end automobiles destined to be within the 90210 zipcode.
