She knew it was fate that they met or “stumbled upon” each other. Kind of suggesting that they were destined to meet each other and have a relationship.

It also continues to the water metaphor. When stumbling into water, she knew that it was God. Water = God due to it’s ability to create life as stated in the beginning of the mixtape.

Since the beginning of the season Dion Waiters has made his negative opinions on the Cavaliers and, specifically, Kyrie Irving very public. They do not appear to have the ability to coexist and the Cavs have been regressing all season.

Via Chris Broussard at ESPN:

Irving called the meeting after the game, and every player spoke. When Waiters was given the floor, he criticized Thompson and Irving, accusing them of playing “buddy ball” and often refusing to pass to him. Thompson took umbrage with Waiters’ words and went back at him verbally. The two confronted each other, but teammates intervened before it could escalate into a fight.

However, Waiters and Irving are not close. Waiters believes the Cavaliers have a double standard when it comes to Irving, sources said. Waiters feels that while Irving is allowed to get away with loafing defensively, making turnovers and taking bad shots, he is taken out of games for such things. Waiters has shared his views with Brown and Grant.

These altercations do not occur in winning basketball programs. When was the last time the Spurs had a public pouting contest? What about the Heat? Or the Pacers? Exactly.

Since the 2008-09 campaign, the Detroit Pistons are 174-282. Mediocre? Scratch that. They have been utterly disgraceful. That’s an embarrassing 29 wins and 47 losses per season.

Their average winning percentage over that span? 38%. Ouch.

Harris is 6'4". Not the dominating center that Denver so desperately desires, but an offensive force that is capable of scoring in bunches nonetheless. He currently averages 17.7 points per game while shooting 42% overall and 35% from behind the arc.

As of March 8th, 2014, they sit in the ninth spot in the Western Conference standings with a record of 36-26. That has resulted in them trailing Dallas by half of a game for the eighth and final seed in the playoffs. In comparison, if the Grizzlies played in the Eastern Conference, they would be sitting pretty as the no. 3 seed behind only Miami and Indiana. Tough luck, Memphis. Tough luck.

Prior to the 2012 NBA Draft, the Denver Nuggets had not selected a player taller than 6'8" since 2003.

In 2012, they selected a 7'1", 21-year-old Turkish professional named Izzet Turkyilmaz for the center position. Izzet is now 23 and has yet to play in an official NBA game. That obviously is not panning out.

In 2013, they took another stab at a big man with Rudy Gobert out of Saint-Quentin, France whom they immediately traded to the Utah Jazz for Erick Green. Gobert has played in a meager thirty four games this season and is averaging an underwhelming 11.4 minutes, 2.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game whereas Green has signed a one year contract to play in Europe. Drafting big men has been a colossal failure for the Nugs. My bet is that they revert back to their old ways and aim for another steal at the guard spot – à la Ty Lawson.
