Consumerism – the concept that an ever-expanding consumption of goods is advantageous to the economy.

In economics, Consumerism refers to economic policies placing emphasis on consumption.

This line implies that a consumerism lifestyle is infecting people like a cancerous tumor, that will continue to grow and grow until it is eventually the demise of anyone that indulges in such a lifestyle.

Alcoholism

The addiction to the consumption of alcohol, or a mental illness and cumpulsive behavior resulting from alcoholic dependence.

Another one of the many issues that collectively plague america as an estimated two-thirds of the American population consumes alcohol, but half of all the alcohol consumed in the country is consumed by only 10 percent of drinkers.

Using someone’s face for target practice is a sign of disrespect whether it’s uncalled for, or well founded. It is often done out of malice toward an adversary.

In this case though, Em also uses it as a metaphor for how well his enemies fair against him. Anyone who dares to oppose Em is either as flimsy as a picture that’s just waiting to be ripped, or simply a target for Eminem to shoot at, they’re sitting ducks.

Now he is getting bored, and is thinking about breaking his own rule, and starting shit with someone, just for the hell of it. This notion might have been more apparent than ever in a line from the song Monkey See, Monkey Do where he basically dares Nas or Jay to come at him!

Here Eminem is sort of laying out a lesson to all other rappers on how to successfully win a war in Hip-Hop. If there’s one person rappers should take that lesson from, It’s Eminem!

With his extensive history of crushing people in industry beefs, and extremely phenomenal DISScography There’s really no other rapper that is as experienced as Em when it comes to diss records.

He also states “In order to master the art of war, don’t start a war” A reference to The Art Of War. He iterated this at the beginning of The Sauce

Here Em tells us that timing is the most important thing if you want to be successful. This concept can really apply to anything in life though.

But in Em’s case, he’s refering to rapping and more specifically the beefs he’s had throughout his career. He’s one of the best, if not the best when it comes to beefing. He really doesn’t lose as explained by another good diss battler The Game in the video below.
