A general diss to his rap competition – their “bars”, or lines of rhymes, are rather “elementary” and childish. “LMNOP” is a reference to the fact that one learns their ABC and basic sentence structures in elementary school. Also the fact that its in a penitentiary ties into “bars.”

Tucking the chain in is a metaphor or literal reference to someone being scared of their surrounding environment. A response to the backpackers who take Hip Hop too seriously and always ridicule any rap that is too fun or danceable.

“As an entity preserved in a sealed Ziploc®” is a metaphor which mocks the cliched reference Hip Hop purists use when talking about “preserving real Hip Hop”, a Ziploc® bag preserves food.

“Pretentiousness is my moral pet peeve” is self-explanatory. Backpackers over the past 10+ years have built up a reputation of being condescending, pretentious, and taking themselves too seriously.

“Bumpin' Immortal Technique in your floral bed sheets” – the rapper Immortal Technique is one of those “serious” rappers that is widely heralded by backpackers. “Floral bed sheets” might be a jab at how “tough” these listeners really are despite what they listen to. They listen to very serious angry revolutionary rap from the comfort of their suburban homes all nicely tucked in to flower bed sheets.

Suge Knight’s alias.

According to Suge Knight himself, he was called “Simon” because like the game “Simon says”, when Suge Knight gave an order, people responded by following his commands – like “Simon says.”

Thus he earned the nickname “Simon.”

According to Snoop Dogg in an interview, Suge Knight approached Xzibit in a club and asked Xzibit about his connections to Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg said that Xzibit got scared and said “Oh, I only make records with him”, and was disappointed that Xzibit didn’t say something along the lines of, “Yeah, I’m down with Snoop. What’s up?”

Xzibit essentially bowed down to Suge Knight, and supposedly Xzibit’s reasons were that he has a son to look out for.

Snoop Dogg was disappointed in Xzibit’s response but said he understands the son part. Snoop then said Xzibit doesn’t represent gangbanging and that Xzibit is not a gangbanger.

To “pull” one’s “ho card” means to bully someone and that person does nothing about it but just takes it or submits.
