Following up on the position line from the previous bar, Meek states that Ross plays the quarterback position.
In football, quarterbacks are members of the offensive team and line up directly behind the offensive line. Quarterbacks are the leaders of the offensive team, responsible for calling the play in the huddle. It would make sense for Ross to be the QB of MMG, seeing as QB’s are the leaders of their teams, and Ross is the Maybach Boss. Ross is no stranger to football, as in real life Ross excelled as an offensive lineman.
Meek’s plan is for Ross to purchase a quarter kilo for cheap, and for Meek to re-sell for more profit. Note the ‘quarterback’/‘quarter back’ wordplay here.
Ross is also friends with Miami’s most famous quarterback ever, Dan Marino.
