In using epanodos (which Ross has done before), Ross tells the listener what he has – drugs of course.

But he censors himself, so he refers to the drugs as only “this” and “that”. As he said in the previous line – he wishes he could say more but can’t, because he knows the feds are listening.

Intro track to Rockie Fresh’s “Electric Highway” mixtape.

At the beginning of the track, you can hear an old device tuning to a station, which is showing a DeLorean commercial:

The DeLorean – Gullwing doors rise effortlessly beckoning you inside. A sneak, stainless-steel DeLorean, beautifully crafted for long life. The DeLorean is one of the most awaited automobiles in automotive history. Drive the DeLorean. Live the dream. Today.“

Ending with the company’s slogan and Rockie’s potential motto in life.

Also, the tacks’s name and intro is one of Rockie’s recurring references to the movie Back to the Future, by which the DeLorean obtained international fame and cult status.

Like all rappers, P.A.P.I. denotes his obsession with money.

Lately, there has been an influx of molly raps in the mainstream, another trend P.A.P.I. is following here by claiming to be drinking a solution containing Molly.

Molly is the pure form of MDMA (ecstasy), usually a free powder or in capsules. Oftentimes MDA is sold as molly. Should be white in color (when it’s pure) but is more often beige or yellow-brown, and sometimes brown or rarely gray.

It’s a crazy world when Ross makes more money off his Ciroc deal alone, than someone who earned a Master’s degree.

Also, perhaps a reference to the masters rights to one’s music. Most big label artists don’t own the “master rights” to their own music – but the label does. This means that don’t have full control over their music and cannot control where it licensed and published. Owning your masters is a big deal and usually not granted in major label deals, if at all.

Despite the fact that he wants his enemies to die, Ross prays for them. Deep down, Ross is a nice guy. This is “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” kind of thing. And of course, we all know God Forgives….but Rozay doesn’t.

He was born in Coahoma County, Mississippi but raised in Carol City, Florida. Ross was taught Southern Hospitality, a stereotype of residents of the Southern United States as particularly warm, sweet, and welcoming to visitors & each other. Ross wants to see his brothers shine.

Ross noted in the Rolling Stone story that he struggled in school and got by “on his popularity”.

While Ross was not dyslexic (a learning disability that impairs a person’s fluency or comprehension accuracy in being able to read), he had trouble reading so people thought he was dyslexic. His mother eventually helped him become the Boss he is now.

Rick Ross' music is the soundtrack to a Boss' Life. After all, he was named GQ’s Bawse of the 2012.

This could be a reference to his song “100 Black Coffins” featured on the Django Unchained Soundtrack.

This freestyle was probably recorded before the shooting events on Rick Ross' birthday, but these lines seem to address that situation.

Ricky could be shocked he’s still alive for a couple reasons.

• Ross suffered two seizures in October 2011, which he attributed towards his lack of sleep. He came out unscathed through his seizure fiasco.

• Rozay is quite the rotund fellow, he himself maybe surprised he hasn’t keeled over from a heart attack or some other health issue.

• On his 37th birthday, just several hours before this freestyle was released, Ross was targeted by a gunman and shot at 20 times. Miraculously, all shots missed but the gunfire did cause Ross did crash his Rolls Royce into a Fort Lauderdale apartment building.

Jeezy is The Walking Dead for fucking with Ross. His buzz was slowing decomposing, like a dead body. Basically, Ross will turn Jeezy into a zombie.
