This is a double entrendre.

Michael Vick is a professional NFL quarterback. At one point, he set the record for highest paid NFL player ever when he signed a $130 million dollar contract with the Falcons. He became the first NFL player to get two $100 million contracts, when he signed a second one with the Eagles in 2011, two years after this song’s release.

However, Vick eventually went bankrupt because he was convicted of operating an illegal dogfighting ring, including financing the project and personally executing between six and eight dogs. He served 21 months on a two-year sentence and has since returned to the NFL.

Ergo, Ross could be referring to the fact that Vick is one of the highest paid NFL athletes, or the fact that Vick paid for his crimes.

One of the many stand out tracks and the intro track from his third LP, Deeper Than Rap.

Ross talks of his come up in the rap game, his boisterous cocaine empire, and his large amounts of wealth he has accumulated through drug trafficking and rapping. This was the song that truly began the 50 Cent/Rick Ross beef.

Amidst all of the controversies against Rozay at the time, this song seemed to be a rebirth for him of sorts. Anyone who says “Ross can’t rap” has clearly never heard this song, as Ross goes in to say the least.
