Young Thug’s first single off of his highly anticipated mixtape I’m Up is the surprisingly upbeat and bouncy track “Fuck Cancer.”

The song’s title is inspired by Thug’s friend Boosie Badazz (né Lil Boosie) who recently had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his kidney.

The music video explains how the subject matter of the song relates to the song’s title. Boosie makes a guest appearance in the video and they celebrate his overcoming cancer. So the song is about celebrating Boosie’s life and ability to have fun/party now that he’s overcome cancer.
