A 2013 altercation with Chris Brown left Ocean’s index finger in such bad shape that he attended the 2013 Grammys with a bandaged left hand. On the album cover for Blonde, he has a bandage on his left hand as well.
After Frank’s altercation with Brown, JAY-Z allegedly pressured Frank to press charges against Brown. By telling Frank he “oughta act his net worth,” Jay suggested that such petty conflicts were beneath Frank and that he should settle the matter in court, the proper way.
