Normally when rappers mention hotels, it’s either because they’re moving work from it or doing work in it, but Plies is simply spending time in one of the over 90 Ritz Carlton luxury hotels throughout the world. It’s likely he’d be at the Ritz in Naples, Florida, since that is where the song’s video was shot.

Mike Dean is probably one of the more underrated producers in music history, so the fact he’s so involved with an artist first album is very telling of how much he believes in Scott. Not only did Dean play a large role in creating the Dirty South sound of the 1990’s, but he also helped Kanye craft his albums and even worked with the legendary Tejano singer Selena.

@HadItAll I think Mike Dean is in the same caliber of goats like Premo, Dilla, or even Kanye, but I’ve rarely ever seen his name in the same breath as the them. To me that makes him underrated.
