STEEZ never resulted to selling drugs; you won’t catch him in jail for possession or distribution of any drug. STEEZ frequently uses the short-term “Keys” instead of “kilos”.

The part about hitting “the block for the cheese” is another clever line from STEEZ. You’ll never catch Steez hitting the neighborhood (block) for money (cheese). Cheese is often sold in blocks.

Also notice the assonance used in these lines.

is a double entendre, as in getting locked of for having kilos.

also getting locked out of some place for not having his keys.

This can also tie into the next line: he is INADVERTENTLY providing a service to his listeners by educating them about what really goes on in the world as he raps. He does so not on purpose.

Usually rappers say they are a “slave to the (rap) game.” In this line, the use of the words “locked down” and shackles" offer the same kind of effect, but with a spin. If you listen carefully, you’ll notice that the game is actually a slave to STEEZ- not the other way around. Similarly, the use of the words “locked down” and “shackles” could be associated with prison or jail.

This line could be a reference to three things:

  1. Playing on Allen Iverson’s nickname “The Answer”

  2. Allen Iverson’s Questions and Answers, which are both sneakers. Relevant because STEEZ is a self-procalaimed “senaker pimp”, as proven in previous lines.

  3. A.I. stands for artificial intelligence, which is the intelligence of technology.

AI= Artificial Intelligence. The next line rhymes with it intelligence, as STEEZ then says “your shit is irrelevant” in the following line.
