XV is from Kansas, the middle of the US. The line “Like Malcolm…X fit him” is referring to to the TV show Malcolm in the Middle starring Frankie Muniz.

It also refers to another Malcolm, Malcolm X- an African American human rights activist during the Civil Rights movement.
