#CLUTCH MODE [ON]/OFF

Coming into Madison Square Garden against a Michigan St. team that many took to win it all in their brackets, UConn wasn’t expected to put up much of a fight. Shabazz Napier – the Sports Genius #4 NCAA player of the year – had other plans.

After a hard fought game, the Huskies were up 51-49 with two minutes left. Smartly, they gave the rock to Napier. Shabazz came around a screen and launched himself into a beautiful fadeaway jumper with a hand in his face. He backpedaled and admired his shot as it hit nothing but net – all but sealing the victory.

As if that weren’t enough, he also hit three big free throws in the final minute, once again proving that he is the most clutch Connecticut player since Kemba Walker.

The seventh seeded Huskies are once again underdogs as they go on to play the #1 seeded Florida Gators in the Final Four.

Canseco played for the Oakland Athletics (A’s for short) a team that’s had its share of steroid users, including Canseco, Mark McGwire, Jason and Jeremy Giambi, and Miguel Tejada.

The A’s play in the Bay Area of California and Drizzy likes the area – he filmed the music video for “The Motto” there and also gave it a shout out in the song:

I’m in the building and I’m feeling myself
Rest in peace, Mac Dre, I’m-a do it for the Bay

Reference to the the Hunger Games trilogy of books – later turned into movies – set in the country of Panem, where there are 13 districts. As a result of some kind of uprising, the Capitol (they run shit) picks a boy and a girl from each district to fight to the death on TV with everyone watching. Similarly, Drake would willingly “volunteer as tribute” to die for his “district” of Toronto.

The beautiful Jennifer Lawrence stars as the main character Katniss Everdeen in the movies. Drizzy is just one of the many who would give it up to her.

It’s also interesting to note, Jay Z shouted out Lupita Nyong'o in similar fashion. Both were nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2014 Oscars. Nyong'o took home the hardware, though Lawrence won Best Actress the year before.

Chance is ready to walk away (“out”) if he isn’t offered the money he wants. He also plays on belly buttons – whether you have an innie or outie depends on the healing of the cut umbilical cord when you are born.

He uses similar wordplay in “Cocoa Butter Kisses”:

If I sip any Henny, my belly just might be outie
