Kids are usually very creative and think out of the box compared to adults. They can also be rebellious.

Lupe is saying he needs to get the right to his creativity back and doesn’t feel like it should be constrained. Through the process of making this album, he has gotten tired of this industrial side of music and he needs to become a fresh, young artist again. That also goes along with the idea that kids at a young age are much more creative. Getting older takes away from that creativity needed to make art.

Moreover, this is also a double meaning. Rather than “Magnify the youth in me,” the line also sounds like, “Magnify the euphony.”

Euphony, or “being pleasing to the ear”, directly relates to Lupe’s message, as well as his recent release of Lasers. Lupe has said that he made Lasers more “popular-sounding” to reach a wider audience with his message.

The door keeps trying to convince him to stay alive by thinking about all that he loves, a common practice by suicide victims in trying to find reasons to live.

It could also be taken that the word “Love” is separate from the previous line. Lupe is referencing his acronym for LASERS (Love Always Shines Everytime Remember 2 Smile), saying that love is the reason to keep going on.

Here, Lupe debates whether or not to “squeeze” the trigger and end it all, presenting himself with reasons to keep living.

Would a girl really rather stab herself in her clit than have intercourse with Earl?

Also, Earl is of South-African descent. In Africa and other places the cutting of the clitoris is a fairly common practice

A much less painful explanation of this is that it’s all one line he saying he can make two girls have lesbian sex with a glass dildo.

Tyler often raps about coke (i.e. the song “Blow”), as well as other drugs and chemicals. Despite what one would believe, Tyler labels himself as “Straight Edge,” meaning that he partakes in no drugs and no alcohol whatsoever.

On his twitter, Tyler stated, “I’m straight-edge, but make songs about doing coke”

The Straight Edge movement was started by the hardcore punk band Minor Threat in the early 1980’s.

This is a normal violence/rape OF line, but there is a deeper meaning to it.

Night Striker was a mid-80’s Sega game. In the game one would operate a variety of different vehicles, from helicopters, to cars, etc. Thus Earl is referencing the game saying he is riding the girl like he’s playing Night Striker.

It goes without saying, but yes, the effects of psychedelics are, naturally, all in your head. This will always be so, despite how it all may feel in the user’s present moment.
The drug interpretation is definitely one (popular) side of the coin, but another viewpoint notes something else felt deep within the mind— raw ideas, inspiration, and creativity. The latter, specifically, going nowhere unless made to by the brain it sprung from.
In the context of Gorillaz lore however, this line may be referring to the fact that Del is, at the end of the day, a ghost. He has no presence in a physical sense, any interactions with him would be all in your head.

Additionally, when viewing the music video, this line boasts a particular and notable effect. One channel uses a traditional sound-wave, while the other plays an inverted one. Effectively, when listening on headphones, the sentence is heard clearly. If listening on speakers however, the line is inaudible, due to the waves cancelling each other out. This interesting detail makes it truly all in your head!

A few weeks before Tyler’s release of Bastard (December 25, 2009), Kid Cudi punched a fan at a show in Vancouver Canada. This is quite the interesting coincidence, considering the proximity of the fan-punching, and Tyler’s release of Bastard (though the song was recorded well before the incident)

You can read about the “Fan Punching” here

Also, Cudi’s fans don’t like his lack of interaction. He tends to keep to himself and not be involved with his fans. Tyler’s fans love him

It’s also a reference to Cudi’s song “Save My Soul” which contains the lyrics “[You can] call me a hipster, as long as you’re a listener.”
