I come to call like Jericho with the trumpets Enough Beef by Sway (Ft. Chino XL, Common, King Tech & Royce Da 5'9")

Com is referring to the Battle of Jericho, a “battle” that occurred in about 1400 B.C. and is recorded in the Bible book of Joshua, chapter 6. The battle was not combative, but involved divine intervention upon the directed shouting and blowing of the trumpets.

When Com “comes to call” or makes pronouncements through his raps, he experiences victory.

Fighting spiritual wars, like the Shi'ite or the Sunni The Show by Talib Kweli

The spiritual ‘war’ or rivalry between the Shi'ite/Shia and Sunni Muslims began in 632 with the passing of Muhammad, the founder of Islam. The rift was over who would succeed Muhammad. The Sunnis, the majority, supported Abu Bakr, Muhammad’s friend and father-in-law. The, Shia, who make up 20% of the Muslim population of 1.6 billion, believe that Ali, Muhammad’s son and cousin in law, was anointed to succeed him.
Tensions grew worse when Sunni troops killed Ali’s son Hussein in 680.

The split has led to religious differences and culminated in the 17th century religious Thirty Years War. In modern times, there has been ongoing sectarian strife and discriminatory practices between the two. However, they usually coexist.

Talib is not saying that African Americans are fighting sectarian wars between feuding religions. They are losing their spirituality and must battle society’s secular influence.

In NBA Live, or any basketball video game for that matter, you are able to do replicate basketball moves that seem unreal, or you would never be able to do in real life.

Also, if you’ve ever played NBA Live, you know that it isn’t the best when it comes to a realistic basketball experience.

You know it’s unreal because Shaq makes a three pointer.

A reference to the single “Black Magic Woman” by Fleetwood Mac in 1968.

It became a classic after Santana covered it in 1970.

Since the song “Black Magic Woman” is most likely a reference to drugs and/or drug abuse, Vic is saying that his raps are dope.
