Mr. Cobb set the all time hit record by a pretty large margin once he was retired with his 4,189 Major League career hits, most of them coming in his 22 seasons with the Detroit Tigers. His record stood finally until Pete Rose beat one of the many “unbreakable” records in MLB history. On September 11, 1985, Rose broke the feat with his 4,192nd hit.

Cobb is one of the most revered and recognized MLB players ever, due to numerous factors like his stats, records, play style, and personality.

His stats and records {including highest batting average (.366), batting titles (12), which are still held today and seen as “unbreakable”}.

His play style was seen as very aggressive and would probably unacceptable in today’s society. He was known to crash in to catchers, spike infielder’s, argue with umpires, and always play with full effort. He was even known to sharpen his spikes before the game and pouring gasoline on them for when slid into infielders with the feet I in the air.

Cobb brought his aggressive style off the field too. He was known to be violent and to beat sports writers, fans, and common people who got in his way. He was also known to be racist towards blacks and during his career did not support integration (although his opinions changed later in his life.) He was also an alcoholic.

Cobb was one of the original Baseball Hall of Fame inductees in the class of 1936, getting more votes than Babe Ruth.

He’s probably referring to OFWGKTA member Tyler the Creator.

The most likely possible explanation for this is way back in Perrion’s Le Bourgeon days, around the time Yonkers blew up OFWGKTA in popularity, Odd Future fans thought Perrion was biting Tyler and Earl’s style, especially on tracks Seamless and Pinguins.
In an interview with XXL magazine, Perrion mentions how in his early days he’d be compared to Tyler.
