VVS is one of the highest among many clarity grades for diamonds. This grade in particular is used to describe a diamond with very few scrapes or imperfections, basically meaning that the entirety of the diamond’s pattern can almost be seen without any disruption.

Seeing that this is the closing track of the album and the final song to play in the screenplay, Donald is likely using this as a vague metaphor for how enlightened his perspective has become.

“U-ey” is short for U-turn, a common way to turn around a car. He’s making his haters “come around” by continuing to produce great music that forces them to like him.

Furthermore, he’s making his competition spin around in their lane, meaning he is forcing them to change the way they do things even in their respective careers.

This lyric can be interpreted one of two ways.

  1. Yung Lean has been taking the drug cocaine and his speech is not making sense, either because of the intoxication or because of the physical numbness in his mouth.

  2. People cannot make sense of why Yung Lean takes drugs (namely cocaine) at all.

This instrumental is VERY similar to Jay Z’s “Holy Grail,” the intro to his album Magna Carta…Holy Grail.

Also, the song’s title is a play on Jay Z’s album title. Peace of Paper is to Magna Carta as Cup of Jayzus is to Holy Grail. It’s okay if you didn’t get it before.

“No punch” can be referring to the fact that you “punch” the clock to log your daily starting and ending hours. By saying “no punch,” he’s saying that they haven’t stopped working, and thus are “working hard.”

This could also refer to the studio term “punch.” Punch in and punch out are common terms in recording music for where you are going to start and stop recording a certain part of a song. Saying no punch means he is recording the entire verse in one take, and thus working much harder than if he were to punch in/out in attempt to perfect each line.
