Today’s popular rappers are, for the most part, lack the lyrical aspect of music. They’re just focused on making something catchy and catching people’s attention by doing weird shit.

Shots fired! Lil Wayne dissed the Miami Heat (Miami is where CiNo is from) and claimed to be “the new ‘Pac”. CiNo defends 2Pac’s legacy by laughing at the comparison and calling Weezy “2Pop” (too pop / mainstream)

This is a response to the “Control” verse by Kendrick Lamar (K. Dot), who was also a XXL Freshmen in 2011. CiNo challenges Kendrick, who is arguably a top contender, to a Rap Battle at King of the Dot, which is a huge battle league founded in Canada, putting together some of the biggest battles of these past few years. This is ironic due to the “K” and “Dot” both names share.

XXL Magazine has published a Freshman issue each year (2008-2014), which featured up-and-coming artists to look out for. XXL mostly chose them right, and almost all of the Freshmen ended up blowing up and turning into huge artists. So, if CiNo is considered a Freshmen, he’d obliterate the competition around him. This is a pun on being a school freshman and a psychopath killer at the same time, alluding to all of the school shootings that have happened in recent years.

CiNo is tired of the low state Hip-Hop has been dragged down to.

To “castrate” is to remove the balls, usually of dogs. Here, CiNo takes this practice to homosexuals, apparently. However, the way he does this is by setting the person on fire– extra cruel. “Flame” is another derogatory name for gays, so CiNo “wraps” them full of fire.

CiNo “spits fire” because he raps so well, but he also literally spits fire onto the gasoline poured on the victim to light him up, like Spyro (video game based on a small fire-breathing dragon)

These garbage rappers are selling watered-down, simple records as if they were classics. CiNo is pointing out that it’s false advertisement, hence the CarFax reference, which provides vehicle history reports to expose sneaky salesmen for overpriced cars.

Anybody who truly loves Hip-Hop and its culture should be able to recognize and respect CiNo and his movement.

Dogs that bark a lot, usually don’t do much biting. CiNo is here to end the bullshit talk of these fake rappers.
