This is another example of Kenny’s bull/bovine lines. A bull is a male cow (son). If a cow gives birth to a female cow(daughter) then it’s not having a bull. Kenny uses this simile as a way to describe how the Horseshoe G.A.N.G doesn’t take bullshit from anyone.

They get the party started like how the keys to a car start it.

Modern key designs are usually symmetrical, and some use grooves on both sides, rather than a cut edge, to actuate the lock. It has multiple uses for the automobile with which it was sold. A car key can open the doors, as well as start the ignition, open the glove compartment and also open the trunk (boot) of the car. Some cars come with an additional key known as a valet key that starts the ignition and opens the driver’s side door, but prevents the valet from gaining access to valuables that are located in the trunk or the glove box.

This is the time of the year for C.O.B to shine. They often drop a cypher during the summer which is when this mixtape came out.

Dice and his brothers are just trying to make money, they don’t wanna waste their time beefin' with anyone. In Dice’s definition of beefin' he probably means the kind of beef where “you need 2 Gats to go to sleep” or “when your moms ain’t safe up in the streets” not the kind of “beef” that happens nowadays where rappers talk shit over Twitter.

As Kendrick Lamar would say

Me and my niggas trying to get it, ya bish

The Horseshoe G.A.N.G are incredibly talented lyricists but they still aren’t signed by any major labels yet. This probably alludes to the fact that there are many rappers who have record deals but have no skill, so he’s wondering why he’s not signed since he has actual skill. Maybe one day when they get more exposure, they can finally be signed.

Tech N9ne has given a lot of exposure to the Horseshoe G.A.N.G on Twitter. He also plans on doing a collaboration with them soon, it just might get them noticed by record labels.

This is another “life is a bitch” type line. “Life is a bitch” has been used many times in hip hop.

Julius tries to shows how contradicting some things can be. Many people say that women(bitches) are the fairer sex(gender). This means that they are nicer than men. But Julius continues on to say that “life is a bitch” meaning life isn’t fair which contradicts the part about bitches being fairer.

This refers to the infamous date rape lyric by Rick Ross on the song U.O.E.N.O by Rocko

Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it
I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it

Everyone was hating on Rick Ross for those lyrics and demanded that Reebok drop his endorsement deal which they indeed ended up doing.

According to Ross, his lyrics weren’t even meant to be about rape but people just misinterpreted them.

In Crooked I’s case, he’s saying that the girl put molly in her own drink so that Crook would “take her home and enjoy that, she ain’t even know it”. Since she’s putting a molly in her own champagne, you can’t blame anyone else.
