While “Ones” could be in reference to Nike’s Air Force 1, it’s most likely alluding to another Nike model: the Jordan 1. In an interview with Sway, Kanye claimed: “The Jordans are only popular at this point because of two people: me and Don C. Because Don C was ordering them vintage Jordans when the 4s used to break apart on the sole.”
Ye was also an avid wearer of throwback jerseys. Maybe he’s alluding to the Nolan Ryan jersey he wore in his “Through the Wire” video.
I think the lyrics are interpreted to show that Kanye is so self concious that he cant do mundane tasks without looking fashionable,
the line can go deeper and show how many other celebrities feel they need to themselves at their best. Due to them constantly being paraded by paparazzi, the line could
in an easier understanding, the line is talking about how a chick would go out to do a everyday task like fill up gas, after putting makeup on.
Also, Kanye is referring to Verse 1 in the second line of this section. His “Ones that’s clean” draw extreme similarity to the stereotypical girl he raps about in the first verse, because she buys “a few pairs of new Airs”. “Ones” and “Airs” are the same brand of shoe – Air Jordan. Thus, ‘Ye is comparing his societal problems to those of a stereotypical, young, African-American mother. Even though he wears his Jordans for a different purpose than she does, the shoes symbolize the connection between the two types of people.

I doubt this line is referring to Jordan ones at all. White air force one lows were popular at the time because they could be worn with a variety of jerseys without having to worry about color coordination. Even the allusion to them being “clean” isn’t a reference to the design, but the fact that the shoes don’t have any dirt or blemishes on them, something particularly noticeable on an all white shoes. The photos featured in this annotation are from years later when Kanye’s style shifted.
