The first verse of this cypher kicks off with Funk Volume co-founder/rapper Hopsin. This was and still is widely considered to be the best verse of the cypher.

Hop was one of the few rappers that didn’t drop a project to keep his buzz going, with his next body of work, Knock Madness, not being released until November 2013.

NOTE: The first 4 bars were almost entirely recycled from his leaked track “Be My Friend”.

Shizzy Sixx is indeed a metaphorical raging demon in the rap game.

This is a direct reference to Street Fighter character Akuma, whose name in Japanese actually means devil or demon.

Shizzy’s Dragon uppercut he strikes is the one used by used by Akuma and later passed on to Ryu and Ken.

Continuing the previous lines of Shizzy Sixx’s musical analysis on rappers in general Shizzy is stating you can make as many multi’s you want, but it’s not impressive if it doesn’t make sense.

Shizzy Sixx is expalining a contreversial topic in rap:

Lyrical Vs. Technical abilities.

Shizzy says just about any established rapper can rap using multi-syllables in their songs. It is even more impressive when you can do this at a quick rate. But that dosen’t make you a lyrical rapper. It makes you sound good as a technical rapper.

Lyrical rap leans more towards use of literary devices such as Similes/Metaphors, Multi entendres, Wordplay, etc (Both which Shizzy Sixx excels at).

Shizzy doesn’t need an instrumental (although the ones he produces are pretty dope) to stop The Jokerr in his tracks, he could go acapella and still wipe the floor with him.

The Jokerr solemnly apologizes and owns up to his mistakes in this line.

He admits that he acted out in rage because of the hardship these experiences brought him. Rather than using these experience to learn from, he went to the “dark side” and turned his pain into anger and hatred.

Now that it’s a Dead Horse the anger and sadness has now been lifted.

Well, it’s hard not to when you’ve been in the game as long as Tech N9ne has.

He considered a very good lyrical rappers as well as being able to master the chopper (fast-paced) rap style, and being able to construct very complex rhyme schemes. He is also always on top of it, killing almost every track that comes his way. This is what greatly attracted the The Jokerr to Tech N9ne.
