Davideo says here that when he’s done smoking marijuana, he goes right back to making music.

It’s relatively common to hear someone make a relation between the cartoon show “Scooby Doo” and smoking marijuana. Often times people make jokes about Scooby and the gang being stoners, so Davideo says here that he’s going to hot box a van with his friends as though they were on “Scooby Doo” and riding in the Mystery Machine. Pretty simple allusion.

“Average Joe” is a common term for someone who is very regular and plain. Davideo says here that he sets the bar so high, it raises the average so that the “Average Joe” is now below it. Kind of like the one really smart kid in class that always ruined the grading curve.

Continuing from the previous line, Davideo says how most mainstream rappers always talk about the same thing.

Continuing his previous statement with a question, Davideo takes a jab at mainstream rappers once again, asking who could possibly win while playing the “rap game” if the majority of rappers are so robitically similar in style.

The rap/hip-hop music industry is commonly referred to as “the rap game”, and Davideo makes a play on this here by taking the reference in a literal sense, as though making rap music really is just a game.

Davideo continues his reference to “Talespin” from the previous line, naming Baloo, the main character of the show, given the spin-off show after his warm reception in the Disney film “The Jungle Book”. Davideo poses the following question to his audience and to himself: when your entire team stays true to one another, who is the true leader?

Davideo makes another 90’s pop-culture reference here by alluding to the Disney cartoon “Talespin” which centered around a group of bears that flew planes.

It’s a common thing nowadays to hear someone say “We’re going ham” which is technically an acronym for “hard as a motherfucker” if you want to be specific. However, Davideo here flips this overused phrase and uses it to literally reference ham as a sandwich meat by saying that anyone claiming to be going ham is just talking a bunch of gibberish, aka “bologna”.

In the Dr. Seuss storybook and popular children’s cartoon, The Grinch eats what Dr. Seuss coined as “roast beast” which was a made up type of meat only for the purposes of rhyming with “feast” in the book. Continuing from the last line with the sandwich meat references, Davideo says he’ll be going roast beast, which is obviously just as ridiculous as anyone saying that they’re going “ham” but rather than thinking this is something cool and badass to say, Davideo is making a joke out of it.
